Emanuele Canonica

Emanuele Canonica (born at Moncalieri in the province of Turin on 7 January 1971) is an Italian professional golfer who plays on the European Tour.
Canonica won the Italian National Juniors Championship in 1990 and was part of the gold medal winning team Italian team at the European Youths' Championship that year. He turned professional in 1991 and qualified for the European Tour at the 1994 Qualifying School. For the first few seasons he struggled to keep his tour card, but he never actually lost it, and from 1999 his performances improved. His best Order of Merit finish through 2004 was 27th in 2000. In 2005 he won for the first time on the European Tour at the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles.
Canonica has topped the European Tour driving distance statistics several times.
