Emausaurus is the name given to a genus of dinosaur from the Early Jurassic. Its fossils have been found in Germany. It was a primitive relative of the stegosaurs, and like all stegosaurs, it was a herbivore.
The type specimen, Emausaurus ernsti, was formalized by Haubold in 1991. Based on descriptions of the skull, it is possible Emausaurus was a similar to, but smaller than, Huayangosaurus.
