The Embolomeri is a suborder of early amphibians.
Each of its vertebral centra is made of 2 cylinders, the pleurocentrum and the intercentrum.
It contains these families:-
- Anthracosauridae
- Archeriidae
- Eogyrinidae
- Eoherpetontidae
- Proterogyrinidae
