Emil Hallfreðsson

Emil Hallfreðsson (rendered in English as Emil Hallfredsson; born June 29, 1984 in Reykjavík) is an Icelandic football player who currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur.
Primarily a left-sided midfiled player, Hallfredsson was brought to Tottenham by then Sporting Director Frank Arnesen in January 2005, having spent his formative years at FH Hafnarfjarðar of the Úrvalsdeild in Iceland. He has since become a regular starter for the Tottenham Hotspur Reserves, in between a four-month loan stint at Swedish side Malmö FF in 2006, and he played a key part in Spurs's 2005-2006 Premier League Southern Reserve title victory. He has been capped numerous times for the Icelandic under-21 national football team, and in 2007 he was selected for the full national squad for their Euro 2008 qualifying campaign. However, he has yet to play a senior game for Spurs, and has regularly been rumoured to be considering a move away from North London.
