I've seen this photograph a million times, and for some reason I think it looks fake or manipulated. What the hell did NASA do to this thing? Look near the limb, (edges) of the moon. Two things wrong with it:
- The texture of the moon's ground does not appear to be at the correct curvature away from the camera by the time it reaches the limb.
- The edges is blocky and completely aliased, (which would never happen if it were an unmanipulated photo).
