Engineering & Technology

Engineering & Technology is a monthly magazine published by the Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET) and is distributed to its 150,000 plus membership.
The magazine came into being following the merger of the Institution of Electrical Engineering (IEE) and the Institution of Incorporated Engineers (IIE) on the 31st of March 2006.
Both organisations had its own membership magazine. Engineering & Technology is an amalgamation of the IEE's IEE Review and the IIE's Engineering Technology magazines.
The first edition of the new magazine was published on the 3rd of April 2006.
The current editorial staff lineup is as follows:
- Dickon Ross, editor-in-chief
- Dominic Lenton, managing editor
- Kris Sangani, assistant editor
- Roger Dettmer, technology editor
- Lorna Sharpe, news editor
