Engineering validation test

Engineering validation test, or EVT, is the first in a sequence of new-product development stages, typically followed by:
- DVT, Design validation test
- PVT, Production validation test
- Volume ramp
- Mass production
These stages are employed as project management methods in companies developing electronics products.
