Description |
Map of the traditional counties of England showing the number of heraldic visitations carried out in each county. Note that Monmouthshire, at the time considered an English county, but now considered part of Wales, is not shown. One visitation of Monmouthshire was carried out. One visitation of the city of Chester was also carried out (not shown). The approximate location of London, in which four visitations were carried out, is indicated by a dot of the appropriate colour.
