Enhanced Combat (abbr. EC) is a mod for the RTS game Company of Heroes, first seen October 05 2006. Made by the modder Soldier of Destiny and his team.

Enhanced Combat had its first public release October 05 2006, the 1.0. The day after at October 06 the first update was released, the 1.01. As days have passed version 1.1, 1.13, 1.14 was released with lots of fixes and new features. At November 06, 2006 version 1.2 was released with lots of new features like the "Guard Tower", the "Infantry Heavy Cover" and the "New Experience System". 13 days later the first 1.2 update was released, 1.21 that worked with the 1.3 Company of Heroes Patch and also had the "Unit/Flag Signs" changed. January 13, 2007, the first 1.3 version was released with the "Anti-Tank Gun Emplacement" for Allied forces, the "sneak peak" version of the "Anti-Tank Bunker" for the Axis and a lot of other fixes and other features. The next day the first update for 1.3 was released, 1.31, that had a couple of fixes. The last version out, the 1.32 was released the day after 1.31 with the "Allied Tripod fix" and some other adjustments.

  • 1 - DELETE ALL PREVIOUS FILES OF THIS MOD!!!
  • 2 - Copy all folders and the .module file into your Company of Heroes folder.
  • 3 - Creat a new shortcut (copy your old one) and start the game with these parameters:
  • 4 - "-dev -modname EnhancedCombat" e.g. it could look like this --> "X:\Program Files\Company ofHeroes\RelicCOH.exe" -dev -modname EnhancedCombat"

To use your current campaign saves (although we recommend to NOT play the campaign with the mod) you must copy the "...\My Games\Company of Heroes\Savegames\RelicCOH\Campaigns\coh" folder and rename it to "...\My Games\Company of Heroes\Savegames\EnhancedCombat\Campaigns\coh".
