I tend to agree that Wadhurst is only a large village - it only has a parish council, and that's what counts in local government, even if it did get a charter way back. Wikipedia is facts, unfortunately, not how a place might look. Peter Shearan 12:17, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
- having written the above I now have come across the list of market towns here even though it only has a civil parish. I suppose this is what makes trying to categorise things a bit of a pain: it is a town, but it isn't, depending on who you talk to! Peter Shearan 12:36, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
