The genus Eratyrus belongs to the assassin bugs (subfamily Triatominae). There are two species in this genus; both are associated with Trypanosoma cruzi:
- Eratyrus cuspidatus (Stal, 1859)
- Eratyrus mucronatus (Stal, 1859)
