Eric Shannon Moulds (born July 17, 1973 in Lucedale, Mississippi) is an American football wide receiver who currently is a free agent. He went to Mississippi State University where he caught 118 passes for 2,022 yards (averaging 17.1 per catch). Moulds was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the first round (24th pick overall) of the 1996 NFL Draft. Moulds was considered to be a first round bust until the 1998 season when the Bills acquired quarterback Doug Flutie. Moulds led all AFC receivers with 1,368 receiving yards.

In the playoffs Moulds had a record breaking 240 yard performance against the Miami Dolphins, though he lost a fumble on the Bills' first play, a 65-yard pass from Flutie. Buffalo lost 24-17.

Since then, Moulds established himself as one of the premier receivers in football, amassing 675 career receptions (as of the end of 2005) and has been selected to three Pro Bowls.

Stats in 2000: 94 rec, 1326 yards, 5 TD's

On April 4, 2006, Moulds was traded to the Houston Texans, in exchange for their fifth round draft pick in the 2006 NFL Draft.

On February 28, 2007, Moulds was released from the Texans, only to be cut after a disappointing 2007 season. After Eric's release he took a shot a Texans QB David Carr saying "the quarterback has to show that he can carry (the team)."

Eric Moulds is rumored to have expressed on a local Mississippi radio station that he is interested in returning to Buffalo, lining up opposite to Lee Evans. This is just speculation at the time.The Vikings have made casual inquiries about Eric Moulds
