From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Eric Pearl (195?- ) is founder of The Reconnection, based in Los Angeles, California. His organization is dedicated to teaching healing to everyone from housewives, Reiki Masters, massage therapists, doctors and nurses.
Eric’s work and philosophy is found in his book, The Reconnection: Heal Others, Heal Yourself, published by Louise Hay's Hay House Publishers where he talks about how he came into contact with the work and his journey to understand it. The book is an easy read with a humorous narrative style. His iconoclastic view of many New Age techniques, methods, and healing rituals was refreshing.
Eric’s work is chronicled in: Hot Chocolate for the Mystical Soul, Chicken Soup for the Alternatively Healed Soul, Are You Ready for a Miracle with Angels? Shirley Maclaine’s Expression Radio, Jesse Dylan’s The Good Life Show and Whitley Strieber’s Dreamland Radio. The science behind Reconnective Healing was studied in the laboratory of renowned scientist, Dr Gary Schwartz at the Department of Psychology at the University of Arizona. Eric also had an insightful appearance on John Edward's Crossing Over TV Show.
Eric holds seminars around the world based on his work and also regularly teaches alongside such healing and philosophy luminaries as: James Hurtak, John Dimartini, Lynne McTaggart, William A. Tiller, Wayne Dyer and Terry Cole-Whitaker.
