Eric Sutphin
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Cpl. Eric Sutphin (1966–2006) was an officer of Montgomery County Sheriffs Department in Virginia for a total of 13 years; he was shot and killed by William Morva as the man attempted to evade police capture. Sutphin had survived a prior shooting in 2003, leading him to quit the police force; he returned, however, after just six months away despite making much more money as a modular home salesman.
He is survived by his wife, Tamara, and his seven-year-old twin daughters.
