Erick Barkley

Erick Barkley (born February 21, 1978 in Queens, New York) is an American professional basketball player. He was selected by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 1st round (28th pick) of the 2000 NBA Draft. He played high school basketball at Christ The King RHS and college basketball at St. John's University along with Ron Artest. He was traded by the Blazers with Steve Kerr and a 2003 second-round pick to the San Antonio Spurs for Antonio Daniels, Amal McCaskill and Charles Smith on August 5, 2002.
Since he left the NBA he went to play in Greece, but was waived off his team after 2 games, in the 2003-2004 season he played in the NBDL, after his time in the D-League he returned to play in Greece, playing for Larisa in the 2004-2005 season.
In the 2005/2006 season he tried his luck with Maccabi Ironi Ramat Gan of Israel but was quickly waived off the team, he later joined Swiss team BBC SION-HERENS.
