Erik Rasmussen (born March 28, 1977 in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA) is a professional ice hockey player who currently plays center and left wing for the National Hockey League's New Jersey Devils. He was captain for the University of Minnesota Gophers. He was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. He was the chosen 7th overall in the 1st round. He has also played on the Buffalo Sabres and Los Angeles Kings.
