Eric M. Hutchins is an attorney specializing in complex litigation, including matters of intellectual property and corporate law. A 2006 graduate of Santa Clara University School of Law, in the Silicon Valley, Mr. Hutchins was the Managing Editor of the Santa Clara Computer & High Technology Law Journal in 2005-06, and he continues to serve the journal as Editor Emeritus. He also served as a panelist and speaker at the 2006 National Conference of Law Reviews, hosted by The John Marshall Law School, at which he discussed matters of interest to publications of legal scholarship. He is a 2001 graduate of Clarkson University, with degrees in computer science and political science.
His areas of interest, from the more abstract to the more practical, include individualist anarchism and libertarianism, monetary policy and banking, the intersection of natural law and civil liberties, American constitutional law and its evolving impact on property rights and economic liberty, the history and analysis of the impact of fractional reserve banking on consumer behavior and securities speculation, and patent, copyright, and the impact of state-sanctioned monopoly on competitive markets.
