Ernesto Canto (born 18 November 1959 in Mexico City) was a Mexican race walker who competed mainly in the 20 kilometre walk.
He competed for Mexico in the 1984 Summer Olympics held in Los Angeles, United States in the 20 kilometre walk where he won the gold medal.
