Eruption is in the dictonary the explosion of magma and such an explosion was the band been, it was the second project of the famous german producer Frank Farian after Boney M.

He needed a second Band behind Boney M. for testing gigs. Frank is an enourmous laborer, music is his life and he lives for his music. And in this intension he wanted to make a harde style oboev Boney M.

So he created in St. Ingbert in the Saarland the disco "rendezvous" only for testing his titles in the real athnosphere of the dancing auditiorium. And Eruption was the more to rock oriented side of his ambitions in Music. (eduard Guthoff edess@web.de)
