ESI Group’s CFD Operations based in Huntsville, Alabama develops and markets software for Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD). ESI Group and CFD Research Corporation (CFDRC) established a strategic partnership in January 2004 to deliver the most comprehensive virtual engineering software portfolio to the market.
ESI Group’s flagship product CFD-ACE+, is the best-in-class of multiphysics simulation software. It allows coupled simulations of fluid, thermal, chemical, electrical, biological, and mechanical phenomena in engineering equipment and systems. The Partial Differential Equations (PDE) involved can be solved in multidimensional (0D-3D), steady or transient form. CFD-ACE+ provides DSMC capabilities for flow conditions with large Knudsen number.
