[edit] Paulins Kill Featured Article Candidacy

I thank you for your comments and suggestions on how to improve the Paulins Kill article in order to make it worthy of being named a Featured Article.

So far, I think all the issues have been addressed with the sole exception of the listy Flora and fauna section. Now there are two ideas on how to tackle that, and there are possibly others. If you could weigh in on what the preferrable method to tackle this in the next day or two, I'll be able to fix it before Christmas. Also, in addition, if you could take a second look at the article and its candidacy and examine whether the edits made in response to the FAC page comments address your concerns adequeately, I'd be much obliged. —ExplorerCDT 01:59, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

Hi, just wanted to say thankyou for your suggestions on the peer review of al-Kindi. I have altered the article as appropriate. Your attention to the "dangling qualifiers" was particularly helpful!

I will be looking into how to include more information on his scientific and philosophical accomplishments in the lead section later this evening.

I hope you will be able to provide more direction on how you think the article can be improved.

After clarification on the talk page of the said article, I am here to say that yes you are in the correct. I am quite aware of the definition of an "edit war" and did not accuse you of participating in one (if you would reread my message). As I stated above, I apoligize for the trouble. I just thought that before consensus on the sentence's invalidity I would be upholding this line found in Wikipedia:Citing sources, "It's often useful to indicate specific statements that need references by placing {{fact}} ("citation needed") after the sentence, but be careful not to overuse these tags. Don't be inappropriately cautious about removing unsourced material." Please view my actions as good intentioned as they were.

After being deleted in an AfD, Operation Show Me How now has been restored and put up for deletion a second time today. [edit] NJ Constitution FA

From what I see of the article, first off it needs a little more copyediting. Maybe expand the lead, as for FAC they usually say two paragraphs. I would summarize the criticism up there, as you're supposed to give a brief overview... I looked over the FA candidacy page and it looked that some people thought the article relied too much on the constitution itself and wanted more 3rd party sources.
