[edit] Aspen image
Specifically it was the cover for Aspen #4, a comic cover. the specific image was a print, I'm aware, but it was the only way to get the clean cover that we strive for at wikipedia. Frankly I couldn't give a shit if you want to change it, thats your bag. But keep in mind, you'd be doing it for quite a stupid reason, and that doesn't do good in making a rep around here. - Your personal comments are uncalled for. I'm aware that image was used for a cover but the image you uploaded was an art print, which is completely different. Thus, you attached the wrong tag to it and uploaded an image that violates copyright. You are the one who made the mistake by not following Wikipedia's rules. So frankly, I'm doing the job of a Wikipedian which is keeping its standards and that, should earn some 'rep around here'. You might find the Image use policy helpful for future image uploading. --Ethii 06:15, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image Tagging for Image:Erte pearlsanddiamonds.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Erte pearlsanddiamonds.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 13:25, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Portal:Fashion/Categories
Why did you de-link the valuable articles Waistline (clothing) and Neckline ? Churchh 19:13, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
- Because without links to the other large amounts of articles which refer to separate pieces of fashion, it seems unfair and its worth of mentioning is questionable. If you are going to list a couple articles, might as well list them all or others that are related. Restore them if you want. --Ethii 01:37, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
- There may be lots of other articles, but I bet there are few which are both somewhat comprehensive and broadly relevant across a wide range of divergent styles. Churchh 06:48, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] ((db-advert)) tag
Just so you know, this tag ain't legal (yet). Check out Template:db-advert for details.
I'll replace the tag where you used it with a ((prod|reason)) tag if you don't get to it first. --SB_Johnny | talk 13:23, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- Aw, bummer. Guess I'll have to find another template then... --Ethii 16:39, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Tusimice Power Station
I replaced your speedy with a redirect to the other article. Feel free to revert me if you disagree.--Spartaz 17:43, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Haruko.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:Haruko.png. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
