Ewan Aitken

The Reverend Ewan Aitken is the leader of the City of Edinburgh Council. An ordained minister of the Church of Scotland and a Labour councillor, he was elected leader of the ruling Labour group in the council and as such leader of the council on 2006-08-22. He is a member of the Iona Community and the Christian Socialist Movement. Aitken is married with two young children and lives in Edinburgh.
