Welcome to Wikipedia! One thing you should know about Wikipedia is that all articles should be written from a neutral point of view. If you hold your contribution over at Category:Languages of Kenya against this policy I think you will understand there's a problem there.
Contributions are most welcome, but Wikipedia cannot be used to promote your own views on the British colonial government and its 'racist policy'. Additionally, your article on Sheng was posted in the wrong place; please see Sheng (language). I have removed your contribution over at Category:Languages of Kenya because for a large part it duplicated Sheng (language) and because of POV problems.
Lastly, I'm pasting a few links below which might be of help in getting to know Wikipedia and its policies and guidelines better:
- How to edit a page
- Editing, policy, conduct, and structure tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
- Policies and guidelines
- If you're ready for the complete list of Wikipedia documentation, there's also Wikipedia:Topical index.

[edit] Sheng - follow up
Dear anonymous editor,
upon re-reading my first message to you I can see why you think that my reaction was an attempt to justify the British colonial rule and the British policies in Kenya. It was not; in fact, far from it! I think we agree on quite a lot of things.
What I meant to say is that Wikipedia articles never should take sides, and that was the one of the problems with your writings on Sheng. I hope you understand the difference. The other problem with your contribution was that it was unsourced, and thus not verifiable, contrary to our policy of verifiability. I want to stress once again that you are welcome to contribute to Wikipedia to ensure that our articles are both complete and written from a neutral point of view. Just remember to check your facts and to cite your sources. Kind regards, — mark ✎ 22:21, 29 September 2005 (UTC)
