2 Days to Vegas is an unreleased, story-driven, 3rd person action-adventure game. This contemporary gangster title features car chases, shootouts and unexpected twists to keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the game. The action is set in several major cities across the USA and takes place during a 48 hour period.
The game began life in 2003 at the (now defunct) Glasgow studios of Steel Monkeys. When Steel Monkeys in the UK shut down and made its staff redundant, the game moved production to the secondary studio that Steel Monkeys had established in Minsk, Belarus.

The game received much attention when screenshots were released, the quality of the game's graphics amazed many video game players. However there is some speculation as to whether the screenshots are actually ingame, or enthusiastic pre-renders.
Update from SM: "We are proud to announce that Steel Monkeys JLLC and AGEIA Technologies have signed an agreement on using AGEIA PhysX SDK technology and NovodeX Physics software solution for our upcoming title “2 Days to Vegas” (“2DTV”).

Steel Monkeys have licensed SpeedTreeRT™ SDK of IDV Inc., which will help to create virtual plants in the cinematographic TPS.[2]
At the 2007 GDC, Steel Monkeys showed off new screenshots of the game[[3]] which Steel Monkeys boss assured was real-time and not pre-rendered. The game is still without a publisher, or a set release date.
