The 4:30 Movie. For several years - mostly in the 1970's - WABC-TV in New York (Channel 7) ran their "4:30 Movie" every weekday. The first several months of The 4:30 Movie were actually broadcast under the title "The Big Show". The more popular episodes were "Monster Week”, "Planet of the Apes week" and "Vincent Price week". The "4:30 Movie" got its start in 1968 and didn't come to an end until 1981, being replaced by "The People's Court" and the 5:00 News.
In the Chicago area, this show was called "The 3:30 Movie", which was a nearly identical show, except for the title.
