From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The 3 Seventh Avenue Express is a service of the New York City Subway. It is colored red on station signs, the New York City Subway map and on most IRT rolling stock equipment because it represents service provided on the IRT Broadway-Seventh Avenue Line. During late nights, shuttle buses replaces 3 service between Harlem–148th and 135th Street, the 2 replaces the 3 between 135th Street, Manhattan and Franklin Avenue, Brooklyn, and the 4 replaces the 3 between Franklin and New Lots Avenues.
