4th Mechanized Corps (Soviet Union)

The 4th Mechanized Corps was a formation in the Soviet Red Army during the Second World War.
It was commanded by General Volsky during the Battle of Stalingrad in 1943. The corps entered the south-east siege in Operation Uranus to obtain an encirclement by destroying the Romanian army lead by Gebele.
