[edit] Garibaldi, the pub
I'm rather amused by your recent edits regarding the pub ostensibly named for Giuseppe Garibaldi. Do you seriously mean to say that it's named for a biscuit, or are you being ironic? If it's a joke, it's rather funny, but has no place in an encyclopedia. --Smack (talk) 23:35, 16 May 2005 (UTC)
[edit] 1984 Libyan Embassy Siege
That article is quite well-written, better than most articles we have, but I must point out several serious errors of style.
- It should begin with a definition. Granted, this is not very easy to come up with for an event, but nonetheless starting with a quote is ill-advised.
- Quotes in general are best kept in a section of their own at the end.
- External links in the body of an article, except in the form of auto-numbered citations, are not allowed.
- You failed to explain the meaning of 'WPC'. Nobody outside the UK can be expected to know what this acronym means. --Smack (talk) 23:35, 16 May 2005 (UTC)
