Hello...are you writing articles about yourself? Wikipedia is not the place to do that, and they will most likely be deleted if that is the case. Thanks. Adam Bishop 02:42, 10 Jan 2005 (UTC)
[edit] I'm not Durel
I'm just a fan of the Rick Cane books. Delete it if you want--kind of sucks though because I spent a lot of damn time on it. I was just trying to add to your web site--I thought that was the point.
- Sorry to be suspicious, but it seems like that is more info than a fan would know, and we frequently get people trying to write about themselves. Adam Bishop 03:22, 10 Jan 2005 (UTC)
No, I just copied the stuff off of his sites and from his biography in the books.
Thanks for keeping it up. It took me a half an hour to type.
[edit] Don't change comments
Just because I proved you are, that doesn't mean you can change. CryptoDerk 06:24, Jan 10, 2005 (UTC)
Please stop adding the Orwell quotation to the Cold War intro. The most important aspects of a conflict going on for nearly four decades have to be briefly sketched in a few paragraphs. Where you placed it, the Orwell quote was irrelevant trivia. BTW, the article no longer states that Baruch coined the term. 172 06:35, 10 Jan 2005 (UTC)
[edit] No hard feelings
Hey man, I hope there are no hard feelings about the Steven Durel article thing. I just try to take a logical approach to everything. With your history of writing, and especially being involved online, you could be a very good editor at Wikipedia. Even when I was first starting out I wrote something that got VFDed rather quickly. Everyone makes mistake, and I hope you stick around and try to make this place better. CryptoDerk 08:12, Jan 10, 2005 (UTC)
