When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. [edit] Reservoir glass
I'm curious which reservoir glasses have a 1.5oz capacity, the ones i've seen based on historically versions are normally smaller but maybe I missed one. -- Ari 17:26, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- It wasn't from a reservoir glasses that I saw, but on the video from the History Channel's Modern Marvels. Ted Breaux was preparing an absinthe, he said that first you pour about 1 1/2 ounces of absinthe into the glass.
- The video can be seen here [1] on YouTube, it is near the end of the video.
- Sorry if I shouldn’t have put it on, it seemed like a legitimate source to me. 70.166.188.112 18:21, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

- No the addition is fine, as the exact dose size varies by preferences in non marked glasses, however as it is now it seems to suggest glasses with larger reservoirs ( which are possibly but I've only seen smaller sizes although generally what seems like a small size of an 1oz of absinthe can be more alcohol than a 1.5oz shot of vodka) -- Ari 18:46, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
