[edit] Your message on my talk page
You wrote:
- Dear A.B.,
- You have left repeated messages for me to stop 'spamming' with links. I read your suggestions and have responded to them appropriately. At the time of making the links, I added what I thought were relevant links for richer content, serving the public interest. As I am learning more about Wikipedia, I understand now that this isn't a standard practice- contrary to the example Wikipedia pages I mimicked.
- No links have been made since I first heard from someone who thought it was inappropriate, and I responded to your comments on your talk page previously. Yet, today I received another round of comments from you to 'STOP SPAMMING'? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.89.181.10 (talk • contribs) 18 July 2006.
-
- I left no spam warning on this talk page yesterday. I did leave multiple notes at Talk:Timbercon further documenting spamming by multiple Timbercon-affiliated usernames after receiving earlier warnings on 2 June 2006 and 12 June 2006. That's a relevant fact for the record since it documents "bad faith" editing. I was also documenting the apparent violation of WP:SOCK by 64.1.198.83, 70.89.181.10, Fiber-optics and Timbercon for the purpose of link-spamming.
-
- I also left a message at one of your sockpuppet accounts, User talk:64.1.198.83, to document for the record link-spamming by this account.
-
- I should note that you yourself (or one of your sockpuppets) specifically solicited examples at Talk:Timbercon, to which I responded. It would appear you are displeased to see this evidence subsequently presented.
-
- Finally, for the record, I will also leave a spam warning here.

[edit] Spam warning for the record
Please stop adding commercial links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks.
Articles spammed on 6 July 2006:
- Avionics
- Telecommunication (twice)
- On-premises wiring
- Network-attached storage
- Distributed storage area networks
- Data transfer rate
This follows earlier warnings to sock puppets Fiber-optics and Timbercon. --A. B. 16:45, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Do not remove warnings from talk pages -- yours or others'
You just blanked the talk page for Timbercon, your colleague (or yourself) , removing the spam warnings. This is vandalism -- do not do it.
Please stop. If you continue to blank pages, as you did to User Talk:Timbercon, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.
