I was not vandalizing the Wikipedia page for the city of Chicago. I was just merely modifying what needed to be modified. In the discussion section of the page, Mike Madsen mentioned that the 2006 population estimate, 2,873,790, should be used instead of the 2005 population estimate, 2,842,518. This statistic is from CNN Money, a reputable source. This statistic is also used in the "demographics" section of the page. With all that being said, I was not vandalizing. Now, I would appreciate it greatly to be unblocked. Thank you for your assistance.
