Guitar Hero: 80's Edition is an upcoming sequel to the popular music video game, Guitar Hero II. It is currently set for release in North America. 80's Edition does not appear to be a full sequel in the Guitar Hero series; recent industry rumors indicate that a separate title, Guitar Hero III, will be developed by Activision's Neversoft division as the next major installment in the series[1]. As such, 80's Edition will be the third and final Guitar Hero game to be developed by Harmonix.
