Hello. Before making potentially controversial edits, such as those you made to Enlargement of the European Union, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Otherwise, people might consider your edits to be vandalism. Thank you. AndrewRT(Talk) 23:14, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the comment you left at my talk page. I am aware of the naming dispute relating to Republic of Macedonia/FYROM. I don't personally have any preference but there is a need to present articles that are neutral and stable. If your edit was meant in good faith then I apologise, indeed it was not vandalism. However, this edit has been made a number of times to this page, and I don't see any point in creating an edit which will inevitably be reverted. There is a detailed section on this name at Foreign_relations_of_the_Republic_of_Macedonia#Naming_issue and this is where this discussion belongs. If the wikipedia article is called Republic of Macedonia, this is what it should be referred to elsewhere. If you feel this should change, please raise it on the talk page Talk:Republic of Macedonia before changing references elsewhere. Thanks for your understanding AndrewRT(Talk) 22:54, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
