The reason that your reverts were removed is that in the List of sex positions article, most of the positions can be performed by participants of any biological sex. Changing the descriptions of all of the sex positions to refer to a penetrative male and a receptive female (a "straight couple") is considered heteronormative. There is a consensus at this article that the gender-neutral language and the singular they be used. If you have questions, feel free to ask at the article's talk page. Thank you.
