[edit] The Band
Philrich is a band that was created in December of 2005. At the time they (Tyler Phillips, Paul Goodrich) were going to call their band “The Milkmen” which was soon changed to AMP (American Mosh Pit). They recorded their songs with a Logic microphone using an unplugged electric guitar and vocals for music. They created crude but creative songs like “Chubbly Chubbly” and “Crazy Eyes”. They then created a blog and posted their album art and more. Then, Paul got them a MySpace and Pure Volume and posted songs like “Koala Airbags” “Daisy” “Hippies” and “Fun With Folk Rock!”. Then, as a joke, Tyler changed the name to “18Pounds of Fiber”. And he never changed it back. They then created songs with a guitar port and used Audacity. They then decided to go serious. So they met up with their friend, Cory Benjamin, and 18Pounds recorded at Cory’s new recording studio, nicknamed “Green Room Records”. Then, they changed their name to Philrich. And it stuck.
