This is not a stub about a novel, this is a hodge-podge. All contributors seem to have seen the film, no one seems to have read the novel on which it is based. What other reason could there be that the movie features more prominently in this article (although it has got its own entry, just as the Bowie song) than the novel itself?
I'll start by moving the image over to the corresponding film page, Absolute Beginners (film).
About the drama society: Your school—Alcester Grammar School—hasn't even got its own Wikipedia entry. Do you think your club is really worth mentioning, or have you just experimented with editing a Wikipedia article? All the best, <KF> 16:46, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
