Talk:Acura RSX
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I have a question - Does anyone know why the 2006 rsx type-s is down 9 horsepower and 3 pound feet of torque? Also are there any other changes for the 2006 model year?

[edit] SAE Testing Spec Change
The specification page on the Acura site states that the SAE testing procedure has changed resulting in lower reported power/torque figures.
I beleive it has to do with companies using differnt form of messuring HP and TQ
also because of the minor changes in chasis and informal engine heat reported from later models
[edit] SAE Standards
The SAE system was changed a few years ago. That's the reason for the discrepency in HP.
[edit] Replacement
The CSX is not the successor for the RSX. Even if in Canada it is no longer sold, in the rest of the world it may still be available. --143.166.226.43 14:04, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image
I looked over the license for the image, and I replaced it. The main reason why I replaced the image is because the licensing seemed to be strict, and I was questioning wether if we could use it. So, I replaced it with one I took that is fully free to use. I mostly did it as a precaution, it is a hard call to know if we can use it, so I did it just to be safe.
