Adhikari can refer to: Jat, Rajput, kayastha. Mostly adhikari is used in Nepal, Western UP, Maharastra, West Bengal and Srilanka.
- The last name or family name of a section of indigenous Khasa people in Nepal with Bahun, Matuwali, Damai, Kami, Sarki, and Gaine castes. One prominent name with this last name is that of the former Prime Minister of Nepal Man Mohan Adhikari or Manmohan Adhikari.)
- Adhikari is also the family name of some other families in India and Sri Lanka, but they are not related with Nepalese Adhikaris of Khasa community.
