Advanced Technologies Academy (A-Tech, ATA, A-TECH) is a public magnet school in Las Vegas, Nevada with a focus on integrating technology with academics. The magnet school program was founded in 1994 and is part of the Clark County School District.
A-Tech currently provides 8 areas of study:
- Business and Finance (BF)
- Law Related Education (LRE)
- Computer Graphic Design (CG)
- Computer Aided Drafting (CADD)
- Systems Technology Support (STS)
- Information Technology (IT)
- Computer Science (CS)

A-Tech was opened in 1994, with the mission of providing a diverse student body quality academics along with technological skills. Michael Kinnaird served as Principal of the school from 1994 to 2002 when he retired, after which the school's vice principal, Jane Oler, took over his duties. Oler served from 2002 until midway through the 2005/2006 school year when she retired and Karen Diamond (Vice Principal at Palo Verde HS at the time) came aboard and took over her duties.
[edit] Internship Program
A-Techs internship program provides an opportunity for students to shadow a job in his/her program area. The shadowing is on a work site with one or more employees at a business, non-profit organization or government agency to observe and experience how business and industry function. The internship allows students to gain insightful experience early on in their career.

Some of the awards given to A-Tech faculty include:
- Kellie Guild is the American Literature Honors Teacher and was named to Who's Who among English Teachers for 2006 and Cambridge Who's Who for 2007. She is the Junior League President for the 2006-2007 school year. She was the only one in Clark County who was in the initial group of graders for the National SAT Essay in 2005.
- Claire Michels, Computer Graphics Design teacher; designed shoes for Nike and the logo for KFC among other logos for various national companies.
- Valarie Young (World History), the recipient of the Milken Educator award
- Computer Science teacher John Snyder, who has received the following awards:
- Milken Educator Award in 1991
- Business Week Magazine National Award for Innovating Teaching in 1988
- Named Nevada Teacher of the year and Burger King State Teacher of the year in 1990
- He was named Tandy Technology Scholar in 1991
- Inducted into the Clark County Excellence in Education Hall of Fame in 1992
- He was named a Christa McAuliffe Fellow in 1994 and 1998
- Dolly Parton presented him with the Chasing Rainbows Award in 2003
- He is listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education, and Who's Who in the World.

- Became a Blue Ribbon School (under the No Child Left Behind Act) in 2003
- Exemplary School Award from the Nevada Department of Education for the graduating classes of 2002, 2003, 2005, and 2006
- High Achieving School Award from the Nevada Department of Education for the graduating classes of 2000, 2001, 2004, and 2007
