"Agnetha Fältskog" was the first solo album by Swedish pop singer Agnetha Fältskog. The eponymous album was released in 1968. Agnetha was singing in the Swedish "dansband" Bengt Engharts for quite a while when this band sent a tape with demos to the record-company CBS Cupol. Produces Little Gerhard listened to the tape and figured out that beside demos of the band there was also a young girl singing on the other side of the tape. So he played it the other way round and heard "Jag var så kär" for the first time. He was so impressed by it that he phoned Agnetha Fältskog and asked her to record this song.

After several songs where recorded (many of them where written by Agnetha herself) and released as singles Cupol released an album with all those tracks and a few new ones, with the simple title "Agnetha Fältskog".
