Aircraft Bluebook
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Aircraft Bluebook is a price digest. It covers the identification and pricing of more than 3,000 second hand general aviation aircraft and helicopter model-years available in the USA. Included are details of avionics fitted , airworthiness directives mandated, common conversions and overhaul usage limits.
The digest is available as a periodical published quarterly and also on the Internet.
The Bluebook scale is used throughout the industry to rate each of the exterior and interior of an aircraft. A rating of 10 means the aircraft is new, and 1 means that the aircraft is not fit for occupation or flight without extensive work.
