Al Copeland

Al Copeland Sr. is a business entrepreneur based out of New Orleans, Louisiana and is one of the wealthiest men in Louisiana. In 1972, he founded the Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits fast food chain in a New Orleans suburb; it now has franchises across the United States and in several countries overseas as well. He owns a few chains of restaurants, including Copeland's, Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro, and Sweet Fire & Ice, as well as the Improv comedy clubs and three hotels.
