Albion Knight, Jr.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Albion Knight, Jr was the vice-presidential candidate of the US Taxpayers Party in the U.S. presidential election, 1992, as the running-mate of Howard Phillips. Knight has the additional distinction of being an Anglican bishop and the son of another. Formerly the presiding bishop of the United Episcopal Church of North America, he left that church to join the Church of England (Continuing) (CofEC), a conservative church in England that opposes both the growth of Anglo-Catholic practices and doctrines within the Church of England and the more moderate religious and social stance of the Church of England.
