Alfonso "Sito" Pons

Alfonso "Sito" Pons Ezquerra (born November 1959 in Barcelona, Spain) is a Spanish former motorcycle racer, who later ran a Honda team in MotoGP, with Alex Barros and Troy Bayliss his 2005 riders, before he was forced out for 2006 due to a lack of funding. He won the 250cc World Championship with Honda in 1988 and 1989.
In 1990 he was awarded the Prince of Asturias Award for his achievements in sports.
