Alf Blume is a teacher by education, but is presently retired because of arthritis and the after-effects of multiple bonefractures sustained during hanggliding. Alf Blume has been photographing and writing about aviation since1968 - he is currently active in a society formed with the purpose of establishing an aviation museum at the former air base Vaerloese near Copenhagen. [[1]]and [[2]] He is very active in local politics and a member af the local nature conservationist society Danmarks Naturfredningsforening www.dn.dk and an active photographer of nature and wildlife as well [[3]].
He is the father of 4 children, the oldest from 1971 being an autist and he is currently living in an institution after living at home till he was 18 years old.
Alf Blume is politically active with a special interest in local planning and the conservation of nature around his local community Farum near Copenhagen, Denmark. He can be contacted at alfblume-hotmail-dot-com.
