Alienation are a Punk/Rock band from Gloucestershire town Tewksbury, who formed early 2006 when singer/ rhythm guitarist Elliott Reid asked fellow musicians to form a band. After many discussions the band line up formed:

Alienation's debut gig
After practising their favourite songs together, Alienation played their debut gig on the 16th June 2006, at the Wheatpeices community centre, in which they performed alongside the likes of well known bands such as Isoaltion, Resurection, and The Cardinals, thus revealing themselves, to many of the bands fans, and earning a fan base. At this gig they played 3 covers "St Jimmy - Greenday, 1985 - Bowling for Soup, all the small things - BLink 182, " and one of their own songs "get away".
Following their debut gig, and line up changes
After their debut gig, little else happened in the band, the line up stayed the same, and they carried on practising together. Then in October 2006, Craig Innocent was kicked out of the band, due to not showing upto the practises. The band considered going as a threesome for a while, however Elliott and Ed one day suggessted guitarist Olly Gamston to Lewis, in which they eventually all agreed on Olly being the new Alienation Lead Guitarist.
Alieantion reveals themselves again
Once Olly had joined the band, they all seemed to be wroking together better, and 6 weeks later a school battle of the bands was happening, and Alienation saw it as a perfect opporutnity to also allow Olly his first performance with the band. The band all agreed on playing "St Jimmy - Greenday" to play. The performance was a great success, and once the votes had been counted up, Alienation had came 2nd, out of 6 bands, only having not come first by 35 votes. This showed Alienation was back, had improved drastically from their debut gig, Elliotts singing voice, aswell as them all playing in a group effectively. After school Alienation heard many positive comments from people who had seen the performance, thus having earnt a new wave of fans.
Current works
Currently the band are working on their first debut album (EP) currently un-named, in which it is stated there will be a total of 5 of their own songs, on the album, in which will then be revealed to fans at gigs, and shows after the album has been released.
The band are always looking for a gig, so to get in contact with them go onto the following myspace, and bebo websites at the bottom of this page and leave a comment on the page to let them know if you would like them to play, and as long as its in reasonable travelling distance they'll try and be there to play.
