I don't list my email because I don't like receiving spam, which is always a danger in forums like this. Give me a link to the info if you have one.Ramsquire 20:44, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Club 33
Hi! My wife and I both contribute to laughingplace.com, considered to be the world's largest Disney fansite and bulletin board. The site has arranged occasional yearly meets through members who in turn are members of the club. As a result, we've gone to two breakfast meets, one of which featured Margaret Kerry as the guest speaker and which in turn inspired me to write the article on her. She was truly one of the nicest, kindest and most patient people I've ever met; it isn't often that one gets to meet a real Disney legend. I've seen the trophy room with its animatronic condors and its microphones in the lighting fixtures and I've even gotten to play the harpsichord. Unfortunately, it was in need of repair...but I can honestly say that I played the Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion themes on it. Quite an experience. :) - Lucky 6.9 16:04, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
Heck, we'll see you here! In fact, I'm writing to you from a hotel room just around the corner of the place and we're taking a paid tour tomorrow. First time ever and I've been coming to Disneyland for decades. It's called "A Walk in Walt's Footsteps" and will include some backstage peeks in the Enchanted Tiki Room and a look at the Club 33 lobby. Any info I glean from the tour will go in the corresponding Disneyland-related articles. Oh, and thanks for the compliment. I really appreciate it. Stay in touch and if I ever make it out to Hawaii, I'll let you know. Best, Lucky 6.9 06:47, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Email enabled
I enabled it... but I'll be replying on-wiki. I'm guessing its for the templates I added...? I don't know much about hawaii, just was born there (but family left for good when I was like a month, military). - Denny 19:55, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Patricia Saiki
Whoops. Thanks for catching this. I guess I got a little ahead of myself. --Ali'i 21:48, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
- No Problem... that sort of thing happens to me all the time. Good work on the article.--Dr who1975 23:28, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
- Hey, look at the trivia I just added about Daniel Inouye.--Dr who1975 23:51, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Ads
I think this ad thing is spectacular. Just thought I'd say so. --Ali'i 15:49, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks! Feel free to use them on your own pages if you wish (follow the instructions at User:Qxz/Ads), or suggest your own, and I'll see what I can do – Qxz 17:19, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Robert William Wilcox
Hey There, You've got me thinking about Hawaii's congreesional history now and I wanted to see if you knew something. Was Robert William Wilcox the first polynesian to represent a state or Territory in the U.S. Congress... if he was... maybe you could work that in when you add Delegates to the list of Haweaii's representatives. Just curious. Let me know.--Dr who1975 20:22, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ads
Sorry I had to remove your Community Portal post. Unfortunately I've been getting complaints because other users (not just yourself) have started suggesting they be used outside of userspace. One user even suggested they be placed above articles – a clearly inappropriate suggestion which has reflected badly on me despite me having no intention of doing that (indeed, not even knowing about the suggestion until just now). Please use them in userspace ONLY. Thanks – Qxz 12:13, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Sinbad
Gracias and mahalo for adding the references to the Sinbad article. Maybe one of these days I'll get to be an administrator... :-) Thanks again. --Ali'i 18:41, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Emo (slang)
Hey, thanks for actually bothering with the references in the emo article. It is important that the source not violate any copyright laws, and I had to revert your edit again because the Rolling Stone video was no longer available, but I'm sure you can find a better source. If you can't, I will attempt to help you . Thanks for your help with the article though. --Steevven1 (Talk) (Contribs) (Gallery) 14:49, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
I will also ask that you stop being hostile. Nobody says it did not happen, but this is an encyclopedia. Reliable sources are required: policy clearly states that copyright-violating sources are not appropriate, nor is any content that is user-uploaded (i.e. self-published). Please keep this in mind.
