Anjimedu is a famous village located exactly between Tirupati and Sri Kalahasti. It comes under yerpedu mandal which plays prominent role in mandals political and social issues .
Anjimedu is divided into three parts 1.Chinna Anjimedu, Pedda Anjimedu and Yerra Mitalu
Anjimedu consist of primary school which is established in 1964, now there in school in sc and st colane also. It is primarily depends up on agriculture and all people are always bussy in agriculture works .
The major visiting places in anjimedu are
1.sivaaalayam (Gurapa swami temple) is a famous temple established in our ancient times and many people come to here to see and offer blessings form Lord Siva. Every Sunday different pujas are done to swami. People believe that those who didn’t have child geting child and suffering from diseases are cured while seeing Swami
Thos about “Siva temple” 2.We consist of “Lord Sir Rama Temple” which also famous one where we conduct “SirRama Navami “ Yearly once which is very good and a grand celebrations at last day those “uthava” which very nice
3. Recently our People construct a nice “Srvasiddi Vinayaka temple” near Siva temple in which every pujas are conducted.
